I know you have heard this before but having the time for you to fill YOUR cup up 1st before helping your family is HUGE! I am NOT a morning person, but I focus on carving out 30 minutes in the morning for my coffee and quiet time.
I’m not the person who gets up and automatically works out or jumps into the shower… It’s a slow wake up process for me. I’m in my bathrobe, I’m making my coffee, I find my favorite spot on the couch, and I read a motivational book for 10 minutes.
Second, I take 1 minute to quietly look at pictures (I created an album in my phone) of what I want my future to look like .
I find visuals are the easiest way to “see” my goals. Some people like to recite them or write them down, you need to know what works best for you.
Lastly, in my 30 minute morning routine, I look at my calendar and see what’s on my agenda.
