I will meet you at the venue where you are getting ready, your home, or photography studio.
My goal is to enhance your natural beauty using makeup. I focus on a polished look without harsh contour, airbrush, or thick foundation, I want you to feel like you… just more enhanced for this event or photo shoot.
24 hours before your makeup application. Ensure your skin is hydrated to achieve that flawless makeup look. Here are some tips to prep your skin perfectly:
- Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Start with internal hydration—drink plenty of water! Aim to increase your usual intake significantly. Hydrated skin is smoother, plumper, and more vibrant, which makes a perfect canvas for makeup.
- Double Up on Eye Cream: Your eye area needs extra care, so apply a generous amount of eye cream under, on the side, and above your eyes using your ring finger. This helps to lock in moisture and smooth out fine lines.
- OPTIONAL — Use Hyaluronic Acid: This powerful ingredient can boost your skin’s moisture levels by retaining hydration. Apply a hyaluronic acid serum to help keep your skin hydrated and plump.
- Targeted Serums for Specific Concerns: If you have concerns like fine lines or sagging skin, use a serum that addresses these issues. Applying it liberally the night before will make a difference.
- Night before – Generous Moisturizer Application: Don’t hold back on your moisturizer. Apply a layer, wait ten minutes, and apply another. This will ensure your skin is deeply moisturized and ready for makeup.
- Optimal Timing for Moisturizing: The best time to lock in hydration is right after a shower when your skin is damp. This helps the moisturizer absorb better and keeps your skin hydrated longer.
Please apply moisturizer to a clean face before I arrive to apply makeup.
Makeup Tutorial Consultation
$70, 1 hour appointment
Are you looking to learn more about makeup application via a tutorial with custom colors for your skin, hair and eye coloring?
During our hour-long consultation, I’ll bring a selection of products for you to try, and we’ll go through a hands-on application session. I typically start with a quick and effortless “dash out the door” look—a fresh, polished face in five minutes or less. From there, we can build up to a glam date-night look tailored to your style.
I primarily use Mary Kay products, as I’ve been a Sales Director and makeup artist for 19 years, and feel most comfortable with these products, but I also create custom color palettes that work with products you already own or may want to purchase elsewhere.
The consultation is $70, and it’s all about helping you find the perfect routine and shades to enhance your natural beauty.
I book the appointment at your home so we can have the lighting you normally get ready with and access to any of your favorite makeup items. That way we can incorporate them with your makeup tutorial and look.
