Here are some good thoughts on goal setting:
- I don’t focus on a resolution bc it’s emotionally driven.. that never ends well.
- A goal is specific, written down, dated, and measurable.
- Habits build a goal and set it in place. Want to eat better? Create better habits of planning what to make/ what to buy. Want to drink more water? Get a cool water bottle with a straw and bring it with you everywhere. Want to be consistent with work stuff? Create an hour appointment for when do do a certain task.
- Don’t change TOO much at one time, pick 2-3 items to focus on and achieve those, then in 90 days pick additional items to build upon!
